  • My e-TAG doesn't beep

    My e-TAG doesn't beep

Your e-TAG should beep as you pass through toll points on the road. If it doesn't, the e-TAG may need to be reinstalled or is faulty.

Please refer to our guides linked below and try reinstalling your e-TAG.

If you need to order a replacement e-TAG, contact our customer care team and we'll organise one for you.

  • I have an e-TAG account but I received a toll notice

I have an e-TAG account but I received a toll notice

When your e-TAG account is topped up and your account details are up-to-date, all your toll payments are automatically deducted from your account.

You will receive a toll notice if:

    • your account balance falls below $0
    • your e-TAG isn’t installed correctly and/or beeping
    • your licence plate number isn’t registered to your account

You will be charged a no tag in vehicle fee if your e-TAG isn’t installed correctly and/or beeping.

No tag in vehicle fees are $0.75 per trip for Westlink M7.

To avoid toll notices and unnecessary fees, check that:

    • your account is active and has a positive balance
    • all your vehicles are registered to your e-TAG account
    • your e-TAG is correctly installed and beeps once when you pass through a toll point
  • How do I pay my toll notice?

How do I pay my toll notice?

There are a few ways you can pay your Westlink toll notice:

    1. Make a quick, one-off, online payment
    2. Save on fees when you open an e-TAG account and transfer the toll notice
    3. Pay in person at participating newsagents or 7-Eleven and United Petroleum outlets. You'll need to pay the full amount listed on the notice. Remember to take your toll notice to complete the payment
    4. Contact our customer care team and we'll help organise your payment for you
  • I travelled without an e-TAG

    I travelled without an e-TAG

As long as your vehicle’s licence plate number is registered on your Roam account, your travel is covered and you will not receive a toll notice. However, you will incur a no tag in vehicle fee of:

$0.75 per trip on Westlink M7
$0.55 per trip on all other Sydney toll roads

These fees will be added to your account.

If your licence plate number isn't registered to your account, you can add a vehicle to an existing account to cover travel made up to 7 days ago by logging into your account. If you don't cover your travel within this time frame, a toll notice will be issued.

  • I travelled on Westlink M7, how do I pay?

I travelled on Westlink M7, how do I pay?

If you've used Westlink M7 you can buy a Visitor's e-PASS or open an e-TAG account after you've travelled, but there are time limits for doing so.

For the Visitor's e-PASS, you have 3 days after your first trip to buy a pass.

For the e-TAG account, you have 7 days after your first trip to open an account.

If you don't cover your travel in these time frames, a toll notice with payment instructions will be posted to the vehicle's registered owner.
