Phone calls

Roam will never ask you to provide financial details or personal login details. However, we will ask you to verify your personal details to authenticate your identity when we speak to you over the phone. 

Email & SMS

Roam will never send you an email or SMS requesting you to verify your personal details, username or password or your credit card information.

What to do

If you've received an sms or email from someone claiming to be Roam and they have asked you to confirm your personal details including credit card details or login information, you may have been the target of cyber fraud. You should immediately:

  • delete the email or sms
  • contact Roam if you replied to the message, or downloaded any attachments
