    Yes, you can. Commercial accounts have features that make it easy to track and manage your fleet’s toll roads costs. Benefit from analytics tools, extended payment terms and a dedicated customer service centre for commercial account holders.

    You can open a commercial account online. All you need is:

    • your ABN or ACN
    • your company name and trading name
    • at least one vehicle licence plate number
    • your car’s make, model and fleet ID (if applicable)

    All applications will undergo a credit check and we may ask you for additional information and financial security.

    What is the difference between commercial accounts and e‑TAG accounts?

    e‑TAG accounts are designed for the average user who wants the simplest way to pay for their toll road travel. Commercial accounts include advanced features designed to help fleet managers track toll charges. These features make it easy to get itemised financial data and analyse your expenses.

    Having a commercial account also means getting monthly tax invoices and paying your fees and charges in arrears. e-TAG accounts have a pre-paid account balance, which can be automatically topped up from a credit card or direct debit from your bank account.

    Toll charges are the same whether you have a commercial or e-TAG account. However, commercial accounts have different account admin fees.

  • How many vehicles can I have on my account?

    How many vehicles can I have on my account?

    You can link as many vehicles as you need to your account. Make sure your vehicle has an e-TAG correctly installed or you may incur a no tag in vehicle fee.

    An e-TAG can only be moved between vehicles that are the same vehicle class. Alternatively, you can order extra e-TAGs for each vehicle.

    You can apply for a commercial account online. You’ll need to provide us with the following info:

    • an Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN)
    • a business address, telephone number and email address for invoicing
    • the licence plate number, state of registration, make, model and fleet ID (if applicable) of at least one vehicle

    Once your account is active you can start using Westlink M7 with the vehicle listed on your account. However, unless you have an e-TAG installed in your vehicle, you’ll be charged a no tag in vehicle fee.

    You'll have the option of ordering an e-TAG when you add your vehicle details to your new account. 

    Please note that you’ll need to agree to a credit check. We may also ask for additional financial information to complete your application.
