A quarterly toll adjustment will take effect from 1 July 2018 to 30 September 2018 on the Westlink M7 motorway.

The adjustment is in accordance with the project deed signed between Westlink M7 and Roads and Maritime Services in 2015.

Westlink M7 uses a distance-based tolling system. For trips of less than 20 kilometres, the toll is calculated on a cents per kilometre rate. For trips of more than 20 kilometres, the toll is capped at 20 kilometres.

For cars and motorcycles, the GST inclusive cents per kilometre rate will increase from 40.21 cents to 40.39 cents. The GST inclusive maximum toll will be $8.08 and the minimum toll will be $0.55.

For heavy vehicles, the GST inclusive cents per kilometre rate will increase from 120.63 cents to 121.16 cents. The GST inclusive maximum toll will be $24.24 and the minimum toll will be $1.65.

Tolls on the Westlink M7 are adjusted quarterly in line with movements in the CPI. Read the full media release.
